About

Property work done carefully — and written down

DakotaBuilt is a property services and compliance documentation business serving the Sioux Falls area. We handle the hands-on work that keeps homes, rentals and facilities in shape, and we keep a clear record of it.

How we work

Services and documentation, from one team

Most property work leaves no trail — a turnover gets done, a gutter gets cleaned, and nobody writes it down. DakotaBuilt pairs the work with checklists, issue tracking and reports, so you always know what was done, what was found and what's still open.

We work on site in Sioux Falls, Lennox, Tea, Harrisburg, Brandon, South Dakota.

  • Do the work, keep the record

Every job ends with notes and photos. Over time that builds a property history owners, managers and buyers can rely on.

  • Estimates before work

Scope and price are agreed in writing first. Anything new we find is quoted, not quietly added to the bill.

  • Honest about limits

We do general property work. When a job needs a licensed trade or another professional, we say so plainly.

  • Local and practical

Built around Sioux Falls-area properties and South Dakota seasons — not a national template.

How we work

Organized, reliable and easy to work with

  • One point of contact

You deal with the same person who knows your property, its history and what's still open.

  • Estimate in writing first

Every job starts with a written scope and price. Extra work is quoted separately and never done without approval.

  • Every visit leaves a record

You receive the checklist, notes and photos for each job, so the history of your property stays with you.

  • Straight answers about limits

We tell you what we handle, what needs a licensed trade, and what's a question for the local authority.

Clear limits

What DakotaBuilt does not do

To keep expectations accurate, these are outside our scope. If a job needs one of them, the estimate will say so.
  • Electrical, plumbing, gas, HVAC or roofing work
  • Structural work, ramps or stair lifts
  • Official inspections or certifications
  • Commercial kitchen exhaust or grease-system cleaning
  • Hazardous-material, asbestos or mold work
  • Legal, engineering, insurance or medical advice

Send a few details about the property and the work. We'll confirm the scope and send a written estimate — nothing is scheduled until you approve it.
