Commercial window & exterior cleaning
Clean glass and entrances, on a schedule you don't have to manage
Customers notice smudged storefront glass and stained entryways before anything else. DakotaBuilt cleans low-rise windows, entrances and exterior surfaces for small commercial buildings, one time or on a recurring schedule, with a note after each visit.

Storefront and low-rise window cleaning, entryways, exterior walls and walkways — one-time or recurring, with a short report after each visit.
Who it's for
Built for
- Retail storefronts and strip centers
- Offices and medical clinics in low-rise buildings
- Property managers of small commercial buildings
- Restaurants and service businesses (front-of-house only)
Problems it addresses
Cleaning happens when someone remembers
Without a schedule, glass and entrances get cleaned after a customer comments — not before.
Small buildings fall between providers
Large window-cleaning firms focus on high-rises; small storefronts and low-rise offices can be hard to book.
Exterior issues go unreported
Cracked glass, damaged seals or failing caulk are visible to whoever is cleaning — but only useful if someone writes them down.

How it works
How exterior cleaning works
- 01
Walk the site
We look at the glass, surfaces and access — in person or from photos — and note anything we can't safely reach.
- 02
Estimate
A written estimate covers what's cleaned, how often, and what's excluded.
- 03
Clean
We work around your business hours where possible and plan wash water so detergent isn't sent into storm drains.
- 04
Document
You receive completion notes and photos. Anything we noticed but didn't fix is listed separately for your decision.
Getting an estimate
What we'll need from you
- Business name and address
- Approximate number of windows or linear feet of storefront glass
- Building height (number of stories)
- Preferred frequency and times to avoid
- Photos of the storefront and entrance, if handy
Safety & licensing limits
- Work is limited to surfaces we can reach safely from the ground or from ladders. Anything higher is excluded.
- DakotaBuilt does not clean commercial kitchen exhaust hoods, ducts or grease systems.
- Visit notes describe what we saw while cleaning. They are not a glazing, facade or building inspection.
DakotaBuilt provides general property services and documentation. We are not a licensed inspection, engineering or legal firm, we don't perform licensed trade work, and our checklists and reports record observations — they don't certify that a property meets any code or regulation.
FAQ
Exterior Cleaning: common questions
Do you clean during business hours?
We can, and we'll work around entrances and customers. If you'd rather we come before opening or after closing, say so when you request service.
Can you do several locations?
Yes, within our service area. A single estimate can cover several storefronts on one schedule.
What about tall buildings?
We don't do high-rise or lift work. If part of your building is out of reach, the estimate will say exactly which part.
