Fleet & equipment support
Keep a small fleet clean, checked and on record
For small businesses with a handful of vans, trucks or trailers, routine upkeep is easy to let slide. DakotaBuilt offers limited, non-mechanical fleet support: visual condition checks, cleaning and a dated photo record for each vehicle, plus help keeping shop appointments on the calendar.

Visual condition checks, cleaning and dated photo records for small fleets — plus reminders and scheduling for shop visits.
Who it's for
Built for
- Contractors and trades with a few work vehicles
- Delivery and service businesses
- Property managers with maintenance vehicles
- Businesses with trailers or small equipment
Problems it addresses
Condition isn't tracked
Dents, worn tires and cracked lights often go unnoticed until a driver or customer points them out.
Service dates slip
Oil changes and registrations are tracked in someone's head or a glovebox — until they're overdue.
No photo history
When a vehicle comes back damaged, there's no dated record of what it looked like before.

How it works
How fleet support works
- 01
Inventory
We list your vehicles and equipment, and the service intervals and dates you want tracked.
- 02
Estimate
A written estimate covers the checklist, cleaning, frequency and what's excluded.
- 03
Check
Each visit, every unit gets a checklist and photos. Anything that needs a mechanic is flagged for you.
- 04
Document
You receive completion notes and photos. Anything we noticed but didn't fix is listed separately for your decision.
Getting an estimate
What we'll need from you
- Number and type of vehicles, trailers or equipment
- Where they're parked and when they're available
- Services you're interested in and how often
- Your preferred repair shop, if you want appointments booked
Safety & licensing limits
- DakotaBuilt does not perform mechanical work or required vehicle inspections. Those must be done by a qualified shop or inspector.
- Condition checks are visual and record what we see on the day. They aren't a safety certification.
- Service intervals come from you, the manufacturer or your shop. We track the dates you give us.
DakotaBuilt provides general property services and documentation. We are not a licensed inspection, engineering or legal firm, we don't perform licensed trade work, and our checklists and reports record observations — they don't certify that a property meets any code or regulation.
FAQ
Fleet Support: common questions
Do you come to us?
Yes. Checks and cleaning happen where the vehicles are parked, within our service area.
Can you take vehicles to the shop?
We schedule the appointments; we don't drive vehicles on public roads. Your team or the shop handles drop-off.
What size fleet is a good fit?
This service is designed for small fleets — typically a handful of vehicles. Larger fleets usually need a dedicated fleet program.
