  • Property & facility checklists

Standard checklists for each type of property, completed on site with a status for every item.

    • Pass, issue found or not applicable for each item
    • Notes and photos where useful
    • Who completed it, and when

  • Issues & corrective actions

Every problem found becomes a tracked issue — from first observation to confirmed resolution.

    • Priority, due date and who it's assigned to
    • Status: open, assigned, in progress, awaiting vendor or approval, resolved, closed
    • Corrective-action notes and resolution evidence
    • Who confirmed the resolution, and how

    • Responsible party for each task

    • Notes, photos and documents
    • Linked to related issues
  • Printable reports

Clear reports for your records, your owners, lenders or insurers.

    • Property details, checklist scope and completion date
    • Issues found and corrective-action status
    • Outstanding items and who completed the record
    • A plain statement of what the report is — and isn't

Issue tracking

Every issue has a status — and an owner

Marking something “resolved” isn't the end. For safety-related items, the record shows who confirmed the fix and what evidence was provided — a resolved issue is not a certification.

Customer portal

A customer portal — where you can view your own properties, open issues, reports and upcoming maintenance — is in development and not yet available.

When it launches, customers will see only their own properties and records — access is enforced on our servers, not just hidden in the page.

About our reports

DakotaBuilt checklists and reports record visible conditions observed on the date shown and the work performed. They are not official inspections, certifications, engineering assessments or legal opinions, and they do not determine whether a property meets any code, regulation or contract requirement.
